P O S S I B I L I T Y and POSSIBILITIES……..  One of the many things I look forward to at the beginning of each year is the process of unwrapping a brand new calendar.  It’s simple enough but brings about plans, tasks, structure, goals, self assessment, visions, dreams and POSSIBILITIES.

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.” — Benjamin Franklin

A new year is not about trying to create a “NEW YOU”, but rather developing a “BETTER YOU.”  Trying new things and replacing old bad habits to a different method in hopes for a BETTER result.

As we head into the new year, me and all the coaches at InterUrban Athletics will continue to direct, assist, motivate, and encourage each and every one of you to better health and fitness.  The first step is to “challenge” yourself and join our New Year 30-Day Paleo Nutrition Challenge.  This is a fun and personal test of will for everyone.  WE all train hard for hours each week and nutrition remains to be the missing link.  Challenge yourselves for 30-days of clean eating and be rewarded with feeling better (looking better is just added bonus) at the end.  Our goal is to develop healthy eating habits and make it a lifestyle, versus a temporary diet.  With all the hard work you put in at IUA coupled with healthy, clean-eating lifestyle, the POSSIBILITIES are endless.

Time to set goals…  As for me, my personal goals are as follows:
– Eat Healthy and Enough (not skip any meals)
– Get enough rest / sleep
– Avoid texting and driving
Making individual goals public is another way to make oneself accountable.  Now you all know my health struggles and feel free to call me out if I slip (which I will).

So it’s your turn to set your goals.  Make goals attainable, make them public, and put a timeline.  Make sure others around you, your friends, family, coaches are aware of your goals.  Write them down, eye on the prize and own it.

As far being a small business owner, my goal is SIMPLE.
– Develop more friendships

I’ve been in this industry for sometime, and this is THE constant…
…Members will come and go, but friends will be there through it all.  So to all my friends, unwrap your new 2015 calendars and make it all POSSIBLE.

pos·si·bil·i·ty
– a thing that may happen or be the case.
– the state or fact of being likely or possible; likelihood.
– a future prospect or potential.
